| Temptation equals to When you're not on guard? |
Temptation, a word with very precise meaning but yet a word with diverse captivation. There's loads of temptation in this whole wide world, ranging from things as simple as food to the most extreme. Is this word, foreign to you?
Alright. Close your eyes...relax, and go through the number of occasions that you had experienced today or maybe in your life to-date. Go through the times whereby there's an urge to do something that doesn't seem to be you or simply the times whereby there's an echo that play like a chant in your mind. Whereby you struggle to get rid of that thought, battling with your inner soul. Does this sound familiar?
Yes. This is what we called Temptation. This insignificant "creature" had somehow crawl...its way into our life. And helplessly,we just fall as preys to this insignificant "predator". You do not know when it will attack, clueless of its existence until it pounce on you and you try to fight back...at times, you manage to break free from the "creature's" grip. But not all the time, you'll be that lucky.
Does temptation indicate that we are weak...defenseless at times? Or does it means "Temptation" equals to "When you're not on guard"? |
